Confirmed: PSG’s Offer for Upamecano!

The saga has now begun: it is confirmed, PSG is going after Dayot Upamecano. With his contract at Bayern Munich ending in June 2026, the French defender is attracting the biggest clubs in Europe, but Paris has clearly taken a lead. The capital club has already contacted his entourage and is preparing a major offensive if the player refuses to extend his contract in Germany.

Starting January 1, 2026, Upamecano will be free to sign a pre-agreement with any team. PSG aims to take advantage of this window to acquire one of the best central defenders in the world for free, just like Real Madrid and several other European giants. According to RMC, Paris already has a proposal ready, facilitated by the excellent relationship between the club and his agent Moussa Sissoko, who also manages Dembélé, Barcola, Doué, and Kolo Muani.

Upamecano finds himself in a royal position: extend at Bayern or embark on a new adventure with a club that is welcoming him.

Upamecano loves PSG but…

And PSG has a strong argument: the player himself does not hide his admiration. Before the France–Ukraine match, Upamecano stated that “Paris Saint-Germain is a very, very big club, with a great coach and wonderful players.” A compliment that has certainly caught the attention of the Parisian leaders, even though he insists he is currently focused on Bayern and the national team.

However, he clarified that playing at Parc des Princes would not disturb him, as his family would be present and he himself is of French nationality. He claims to feel good in Germany while clearly leaving a door ajar.

One certainty emerges: PSG has gone on the offensive, Upamecano is listening, and Bayern is worried. The matter is just beginning, but Paris has already made a strong move.
