Plot twist ahead of the PSG–Real Madrid clash at the Club World Cup: Kylian Mbappé has officially withdrawn his complaint against PSG for moral harassment and attempted extortion. A move aimed at easing tensions and refocusing on football.
The complaint, filed in May, targeted Mbappé’s exclusion from PSG’s infamous “loft” — a sidelining method already challenged by other players. While the case is now dropped on Mbappé’s end, the French judiciary may still pursue the matter if the prosecutor decides to proceed.
Still asking for unpaid salaries
But the financial dispute is far from over. Mbappé is sticking to his legal action before the labor court, seeking €55 million in unpaid wages — for April, May and June 2024 — plus a signing bonus and an ethics bonus that he claims were never paid.
Mbappé is ready to move on… on the pitch. But off it, the battle continues.
