The Paris Saint-Germain will display an unprecedented look this October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For the fourth year running, the club and its main partner Qatar Airways are joining forces to raise awareness and promote prevention.

The pink ribbon replaces Qatar Airways : In a symbolic move, Qatar Airways is giving up its spot on the front of the PSG jersey to make way for the pink ribbon, the universal emblem of the fight against breast cancer.

This special jersey will be worn by the men’s, women’s, and handball teams during PSG-Dijon (Oct 4, women), PSG-Sélestat (Oct 12, handball), and PSG-Strasbourg (Oct 17, men).

Beyond the pitch: auctions, products, and awareness

From Oct 29, fans will find special scarves and tote bags in PSG shops, while also being able to add a pink ribbon to their jerseys. The kits worn in matches will be auctioned, with all proceeds going to the AP-HP to fund concrete projects for patients.

The club will also roll out information stands at the Parc des Princes and the Campus, organize hospital visits from players, beauty sessions for patients, and activities for kids through the PSG Academy. Partners such as Nuna, ILIA Beauty, and Barbara Bui are also backing the campaign.

“We’re proud to put all our energy and visibility at the service of this cause,” said Fabien Allègre, PSG’s Chief Brand Officer.

“By replacing our logo with the pink ribbon, we show the power of football to unite around essential battles,” added Thierry Antinori, Qatar Airways CCO. A shirt without a sponsor, but with a message that resonates far beyond football.
