Tottenham are ready to go big: the Premier League club is preparing a massive bid of over €70M / £59.5M (bonuses included) to convince Bournemouth to part ways with their Ukrainian centre-back Illya Zabarnyi.
The Spurs are all-in, while PSG must now decide whether to respond. The player is currently valued at around €79M / £67M, making Tottenham’s offer very serious.
But it’s a crowded race. According to CaughtOffside, Newcastle, Chelsea, and Liverpool are also monitoring the situation closely. For the Reds, Zabarnyi could even be a future replacement for Ibrahima Konaté, should the Frenchman leave.
PSG confident—for now
Still, PSG remain calm. The newly crowned Champions League winners hold one key advantage: Zabarnyi’s clear desire to join Paris this summer. To date, the player has not entered into negotiations with any other club.
A red-hot transfer battle is brewing—and PSG could win it, if they manage to hold off Tottenham’s aggressive move.
