Renato Sanches is already set to return to Paris Saint-Germain, but his adventure in Paris is looking more and more like a complete dead end.
Almost every summer in recent years, the Renato Sanches problem comes back to haunt PSG. Loaned out to Panathinaikos this season, the Portuguese midfielder will not be kept by the Greek club, which has decided not to activate his purchase option.
PSG Ready to End the Renato Sanches Era
Between constant injuries and inconsistent performances, Renato Sanches has never managed to rediscover the level that once made him one of Europe’s brightest prospects during his time at Benfica and Bayern Munich. According to Nicolo Schira, the Portuguese international is absolutely not part of Luis Enrique’s plans for next season.
Paris is already looking for a solution to offload him during the summer transfer window, while also trying to recover a small transfer fee for a player who never managed to establish himself at the club.
Under contract until 2027, Renato Sanches could quickly become one of the most complicated files of the summer for PSG. Still according to Nicolo Schira, he has also decided to change agencies by joining the Wasserman group, a move that clearly looks like preparation for a fresh start away from Paris.
