The Vitinha to Real Madrid rumor has gained serious momentum again with the imminent arrival of José Mourinho. According to Spanish journalist Tomás Roncero, only two players currently have the ideal profile to rebuild Madrid’s midfield: Rodri and Vitinha. A strong statement as Real continue searching for the successors to Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro.
Real Madrid Still Dreaming of Vitinha
“When I’m asked about the solution for the midfield, I always mention two names: Rodri and Vitinha. The others seem second-tier to me,” he said on El Larguero on La Cadena SER. “One weakness that has been felt repeatedly over the last decade is that club legends left through the back door.”
The Spanish giants reportedly admire the Portuguese international’s profile, especially his ability to control the tempo of a match with outstanding technical quality. But on PSG’s side, a departure is absolutely not being considered for a player viewed as essential to Luis Enrique’s system.
Still under contract in Paris, Vitinha remains one of the key pillars of the PSG project. But seeing Real Madrid once again pushing for his signature is certain to fuel speculation throughout the summer. Unless Vitinha simply has no desire to reunite with Kylian Mbappé…
