Kylian Mbappé is thriving in Madrid. With 17 goals already this season, the Real Madrid star seems happier than ever — and he made it clear in an interview with Brut, mixing honesty with a touch of humour.

“I’m less rushed here. Paris is a city that has no time for anyone, it moves fast and you have to keep up with it. Here, you can live at your own pace, take time to enjoy things. In Paris, it’s cold. Mbappé also made a culinary confession:
“We live very well here in Madrid. People are welcoming, kind, respectful. It’s really a pleasure to be here every day and experience something new. And yes… they make great paella. People will say it’s cliché, but it’s really good,” he joked.
