The summer transfer window of 2025 is approaching, and Paris Saint-Germain is already active in strengthening its squad. Among the rumored targets, there is a surprise: Sandro Tonali. The Italian international midfielder from Newcastle is reportedly being closely monitored by the Parisian management, according to Caught Offside.
Arriving in 2023 from AC Milan, Tonali (24 years old) has not fully settled in the Premier League. According to sources cited by the English media, the player is considering a departure as early as this summer to revive his career. Naturally, several major European clubs, including PSG, are on alert.
Under contract until 2028, Tonali retains a high market value. His technique, passing quality, and work rate make him a profile compatible with the demands of Luis Enrique, who could see him as a key element to invigorate his midfield.
High price but an open case
“Big clubs like Manchester City, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain are on the lookout for Sandro Tonali,” specifies Caught Offside. The media adds that Newcastle could listen to offers around 80 million euros but would prefer a sale abroad.
For PSG, nothing is advanced at this stage, but the Tonali case could rise to the top of the pile if Luis Campos decides to take action in this area. A situation to follow in the coming weeks.
