It’s official: Arsenal have made a huge splash in the transfer market with the signing of Eberechi Eze.
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder leaves Crystal Palace for the Gunners in a deal worth €78 million (£66m) including bonuses — a record-breaking sale for the Eagles, surpassing Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s €55m move to Manchester United back in 2019.
Eze, who spent part of his youth career at Arsenal between 2006 and 2011, now makes a high-profile return to North London. He has signed a long-term contract and will wear the iconic No.10 shirt, carrying big expectations with it.
