At 27 years old, Kylian Mbappé has decided to take the plunge: the French forward is getting his driver’s license in Spain.
He waited until moving abroad to get started. Long held back in Paris for security and logistical reasons, the Real Madrid striker has finally taken the step in Spain. According to local media, he is taking lessons at a driving school in Alcorcón, south of Madrid, not far from his home.
Mbappé Gains Independence Behind the Wheel in Spain
His mother, Fayza Lamari, had long encouraged him to obtain his license in order to gain more independence and privacy in his daily life.
Once he has the precious document in hand, Mbappé will be able to enjoy the car provided by BMW, a partner of the Madrid club. This season, he is said to have chosen a BMW i7 xDrive60, an electric model valued at around 150,000 euros.
