More trouble for FC Barcelona as their preseason trip to Japan has been abruptly called off—just hours before takeoff.
The club was set to face Vissel Kobe on Sunday, but the local promoter suddenly pulled out, forcing the cancellation of the tour at the last minute.
It’s a major blow for Barça, whose summer plans are now in limbo. And things could get even worse: the upcoming tour in South Korea is now also uncertain.
Two friendlies are scheduled—on July 31 against FC Seoul and August 4 versus Daegu FC—but the club is still waiting for firm guarantees from the Korean organizer.
For now, the Catalan side remains grounded, hoping its preseason won’t turn into a full-blown fiasco.
