Kylian Mbappé will wear the number 10 jersey next season at Real Madrid. A clear message: he’s moving on from the number 9 he wore during his first year in Spain.

The French superstar all but confirmed the news himself with a short but telling post on X: simply “10”. A subtle tease, but no doubt about the meaning—Mbappé is set to inherit the legendary number vacated by Luka Modric, who joined AC Milan this summer.
