A major setback for Brazil and FC Barcelona. Starting against France (1–2 defeat), Raphinha was forced to leave his teammates at halftime due to a muscle injury.
With Raphinha sidelined, both Brazil and Barça are on edge. After the match, Carlo Ancelotti provided an initial, cautious update: “Raphinha had a very good match, but he felt discomfort toward the end of the first half. We preferred not to take any risks. He will undergo tests this Friday.”
A crucial moment for Barcelona’s schedule
On Barcelona’s side, concern is very real. The schedule is set to become intense after the international break, including a major clash against Atlético Madrid in La Liga, followed by a Champions League quarter-final against the same opponent, not to mention the derby against Espanyol.
The results of the medical examinations will therefore be decisive in determining how long the Brazilian winger will be unavailable.
