AS Monaco weren’t spared either. They host Manchester City, Juventus and Galatasaray, while traveling to Real Madrid, Club Brugge, Bodø/Glimt and Pafos. With City, Real and Juve in the mix, the Principality side has a huge challenge but also opportunities against smaller clubs.

Real Madrid, chasing their 15th crown, drew Manchester City at home, Liverpool away, Juventus at home, Benfica away, Marseille at home, Olympiacos away, Monaco at home and Kairat Almaty away. It’s a blockbuster calendar that features three fellow giants plus two French clubs.

Liverpool, meanwhile, will renew rivalries with Real Madrid at Anfield, travel to Inter, host Atlético Madrid, face Frankfurt in Germany, welcome PSV Eindhoven, travel to Marseille, host Qarabag and finish away to Galatasaray. It’s a fiery schedule filled with big names and hostile stadiums.

Arsenal’s return is no easier. The Gunners host Bayern Munich, Atlético Madrid and Olympiacos, travel to Inter, Club Brugge, Slavia Prague and Athletic Club, and welcome Kairat Almaty at the Emirates. Bayern, Atlético and Inter headline a dangerous draw, though Arsenal will like their chances against the rest.

Elsewhere, Union SG drew Inter, Bayern and Atalanta, while Galatasaray must take on Liverpool, City and Atlético. For smaller clubs like Qarabag, Copenhagen, Pafos or Kairat Almaty, the draw guarantees glamorous nights against Europe’s elite.

The full Champions League league-phase schedule with exact dates and kickoff times will be confirmed by UEFA before Saturday, August 30.
