The transfer market could heat up around Enzo Fernández. After a disastrous season at Chelsea, ending without European qualification, the Argentine midfielder is reportedly seriously considering leaving this summer.
Enzo Fernández could be on his way out of Chelsea. Despite solid numbers with 15 goals and 7 assists, the 2022 World Cup winner is no longer hiding his desire to join a club capable of competing for the biggest titles in Europe. Signed from Benfica in 2023 for more than €107 million, Fernández remains under contract until 2032.
Chelsea Demand Huge Fee for Fernández
And unsurprisingly, Chelsea are expected to demand a massive fee. The Blues reportedly want around €140 million to let their midfielder leave. A huge price tag that is already cooling the interest of several clubs.
Real Madrid is said to be the player’s preferred destination, but the Spanish giants are unwilling to spend such an amount without making major sales this summer. The Rodri situation is also still being monitored by Los Blancos.
Manchester City are also keeping a close eye on the situation. Incoming City manager Enzo Maresca is believed to be a big admirer of the player’s profile. However, the English club’s current priority would reportedly be Elliot Anderson. As for Paris Saint-Germain, the French club has reportedly cooled down the rumors surrounding a possible move despite the speculation that emerged in recent weeks.
