Real Madrid could be preparing a massive transfer market earthquake. In the middle of the presidential campaign for the Madrid club, Enrique Riquelme has dropped a bombshell that is already shaking Spain.
The return of the Galacticos at Real Madrid? Opposing current president Florentino Pérez, businessman Enrique Riquelme claimed he has already secured the arrival of “two major international stars” if he wins the election. A stunning statement that has completely ignited Madrid supporters just weeks before the vote.
Two International Stars Promised for Real Madrid
“The transfers are finalized. I have two major international stars who have signed for Real Madrid,” Enrique Riquelme revealed in an interview with ABC. He then added: “There is an agreement stating that if I am elected president of Real Madrid, two major international stars will play for Real Madrid.”
The candidate also explained that these signings would be “essential to the sporting project in the short, medium and long term,” while revealing that advanced talks are also underway regarding the future coaching staff of the Spanish club.
For now, no names have leaked out. But Enrique Riquelme has promised that the identities of these two stars will “probably” be revealed very soon. More than enough to spark a huge wave of rumors surrounding Real Madrid.
