Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t an old 40-year-old. According to new data released by the company Whoop, the player isn’t even 30.

How does CR7 manage to defy time? At 40, the Al-Nassr forward continues to post physical performances that have nothing to do with his age. According to biometric data published by Whoop, his physiological age is just 28.7 years — nearly twelve years younger than his real age.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the GOAT of recovery

Whoop highlights an “elite metabolic control,” measured through the HOMA-IR index, which evaluates how effectively insulin is used to produce energy.

According to their analysis, Ronaldo enjoys exceptional metabolic stability, providing steady energy to his muscles and helping him maintain world-class performance for so many years. His hemoglobin levels also confirm “an exceptional endurance and aerobic capacity,” even during the most intense efforts.

Always attentive to his image as the model athlete, Cristiano Ronaldo reacted with humor on X, writing: “The data doesn’t lie.” A message that perfectly reflects the discipline and obsession with excellence that have shaped one of football’s greatest champions.
