Arsène Wenger has complete confidence in France ahead of the World Cup. For the former manager, the depth and quality of the French squad make Les Bleus one of the leading contenders to lift the trophy.
Despite some inconsistent performances in recent friendlies, Wenger remains fully convinced by the national team. “France will win the World Cup,” the former Arsenal boss declared in an interview with Le Figaro.
Wenger Backs France for World Cup Glory
“France has an exceptional pool of talent. Didier Deschamps has the experience required to find the right balance. With so many top-level attacking players, the main challenge will be maintaining collective stability,” Wenger explained.
However, he believes modern football significantly reduces that risk. “Today, even attackers contribute defensively. Players know how to adapt to the demands of the highest level,” he added.
His comments echo the message recently delivered by Ousmane Dembélé, who urged France’s attacking stars, including Kylian Mbappé, to work together defensively if they want to win the World Cup.
