Cristiano Ronaldo silenced his critics in spectacular fashion, and his emotional outburst after Portugal’s victory over Uzbekistan quickly went viral. The Portuguese captain had clearly been waiting for the perfect response.

However, it was after the final whistle that Ronaldo truly captured attention. After the match, Ronaldo explained that he tries not to focus on outside criticism. He admitted it had been a difficult week, with particularly harsh comments directed at him, but stressed that his 23 or 24 years of experience have taught him how to handle such situations. He added that criticism can be an opportunity to improve and emphasized that what matters most is what happens inside the team, not the noise from the outside world.
