A former PSG player has shared a surprising anecdote about Neymar in the toilets. Alexandre Letellier, the club’s former third goalkeeper, recalled an unbelievable scene at the Camp des Loges involving Neymar, a restroom, and a wide-open door.

PSG players know each other inside out, maybe a little too much. After spending so much time together, they accumulate wild stories. Letellier has a memorable one involving Neymar.

“One day I go to the bathroom, I walk in… and I see Ney sitting on the toilet, door wide open. I froze,” he said. Shocked, Letellier stepped back out and ran into Abdou Diallo, who noticed his stunned expression. “Alex, what’s wrong?” — “I just went to the toilets… and Ney is there, doing his business… with the door open,” he told L’Équipe.

“Ney is there, doing his business… with the door open”

Diallo’s answer was legendary: “That’s normal. He’s claustrophobic. He never locks the door.” Yes, Neymar apparently used the bathroom with the door open because he was afraid of being trapped inside. A story as unusual as Neymar himself.
