Manchester United is in turmoil as they gear up for a crucial match against Chelsea. After a dismal start to the season with just one win in four matches, the Red Devils currently sit in a worrying 14th place in the Premier League.
Fans are growing increasingly impatient, calling for the dismissal of coach Ruben Amorim. Tensions are high as the team prepares for a pivotal showdown against the Blues this weekend.
Despite the mounting pressure, Amorim appeared calm after a meeting with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the club’s management. He jokingly remarked, ‘He offered me a new contract,’ highlighting the absurdity of his situation.
“A Normal Meeting” but…
Amorim later clarified, ‘I discussed everything about the team with him, Omar (Berrada), and Jason (Wilcox). It was a normal meeting.’ For now, he insists he doesn’t feel threatened, but his future may hinge on the upcoming match.
Reports suggest Amorim has just three games to turn things around or face the axe. A new contract seems off the table if results don’t improve soon.
