Axel Tuanzebe is suing Manchester United for “medical negligence” and is demanding £1 million (€1.13 million).
Manchester United is in turmoil. According to the Daily Mail, former Red Devils defender Axel Tuanzebe accuses his former club of mishandling his injuries, resulting in lasting physical consequences that now prevent him from playing “without restriction.”
The player, who now plays for Burnley, is no stranger to United as he has been with the club since he was 8 years old. He joined the first team in 2017 but was never able to establish himself, particularly due to a lower back fracture in 2020, followed by a second one in 2022.

His complaint, filed in the High Court, claims that the club neither provided him with the necessary rest nor referred him to a specialist, which turned his injury into a chronic issue.
The player believes that appropriate treatment would have allowed him to continue his career at the highest level. The explosive case is now in the hands of the judiciary.
