FIFA President Gianni Infantino is aiming to introduce major rule changes in football.

- The “Wagner Law”: A player will be considered offside only if their entire body is behind the last defender.
- Live referee decision communication: Officials would explain their decisions in real time to improve transparency.
- Video challenges for coaches: Managers could be allowed a limited number of VAR appeals per match.
- Stopping the clock when the ball is out of play: The game clock would pause whenever the ball is out, reducing unnecessary time-wasting.
