Michael Olise continues to impress. Outstanding against PSG (5-4), the Bayern Munich player keeps making headlines… and Christophe Dugarry did not hold back.
Speaking on RMC, the 1998 World Cup winner dared to make a huge comparison with Zinedine Zidane. Nothing less. “We don’t realize what we’re witnessing, this is an extraordinary player. I might be going a bit far, but I think there’s a bit of Zizou in this guy — in his slightly nonchalant attitude, his ball control, the way he uses his body, moves between the lines, his vision…” explained Dugarry.
A rising talent compared to Zidane
“We are witnessing the birth of a star. We’re only at the beginning of what he’s capable of. I think he truly has something different. He can do everything! He can score, assist, run… Who has dominated Nuno Mendes like that? No one! This is just the start of something huge,” added Dugarry, amazed by his vision and technical mastery.
For him, Olise is destined for greatness. As great as Zidane? To reach that level, he will at least need to win a World Cup.
