With two weeks to go before the Champions League final against Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain have delivered reassuring news regarding several injured players ahead of Sunday night’s trip to face Paris FC.
PSG are getting key players back just in time for the Champions League final. In the medical update released after Friday’s training session, the Parisian club confirmed that Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes, Achraf Hakimi, Lucas Chevalier and Quentin Ndjantou had all resumed individual training. However, none of them are expected to be available for the derby against Paris FC.
PSG Regain Key Players Before the Final
This return to training still represents an important step in their recovery. With the European final scheduled for May 30 in Budapest, PSG manager Luis Enrique is expected to continue handling his squad carefully.
Another positive sign for PSG is that Warren Zaïre-Emery and Lee Kang-in no longer appear in the club’s medical report. Both attacking midfielders are now considered fit and should return to the squad for the match against Paris FC.
PSG are therefore gradually recovering a large part of their squad ahead of the most important game of their season. Already crowned French champions, the Parisian club appear to be building momentum at the perfect time before their Champions League final against Arsenal.
