Paris Saint-Germain suffered a nightmare in New York this Sunday. In the final of the Club World Cup, the Parisians were swept aside 3-0 by a high-intensity Chelsea side.
Palmer struck twice (22’, 30’) before Joao Pedro put the game out of reach just before halftime (43’). Outplayed and frustrated, PSG couldn’t respond despite a few chances in the second half.
Neves was even sent off late in the game after a VAR review. Chelsea win the first edition of this new Club World Cup format, while PSG return empty-handed.
