Challenges Surrounding the Project

While the city of Poissy and Stellantis are moving forward with the feasibility study, challenges remain. The industrial site, covering 170 hectares, may provide enough space for the project, but unions and some local politicians are cautious. Concerns focus on the potential disruption to the site’s industrial activity and long-term job security.

Stellantis has assured that production will not be affected, with possibilities to reconfigure industrial activities. However, written guarantees for job preservation will be required.

Despite these challenges, Poissy remains a strong candidate for PSG’s new stadium, bolstered by its proximity to key transport links and available land.
