PSG: Lucas Hernandez defends himself against the accusations

A sensitive legal case has just hit Lucas Hernandez. The PSG defender and his partner, Victoria Triay, are at the center of a complaint following revelations published by Paris Match. A family from Colombia claims to have worked for the couple for more than a year, between September 2024 and November 2025, without an employment contract or any legal framework.

The plaintiffs describe difficult conditions and accuse the Hernandez couple of concealed work, or even human trafficking. According to the magazine, the family members handled many daily tasks: security, house maintenance, cooking, childcare, and monitoring the property. A complaint has been filed and the case is now in the hands of the Versailles prosecutor’s office.

Hernandez denies the allegations

Targeted by these claims, the French international reacted quickly. In a statement sent to AFP, Lucas Hernandez categorically denies the accusations and gives his version of events. He says he welcomed these people out of solidarity, considering them close, and claims to have provided them with financial and material support.

The player also says he acted in good faith, believing their administrative situation was being regularized. According to him, the relationship was based on trust and mutual respect, a trust that was ultimately betrayed. He and his wife said they opened their home and their lives to people who presented themselves as friends and asked for their kindness.

“Unfortunately, we are not the first to go through such a situation,” they added, saying they were manipulated by emotional stories and false assurances. They insist they never acted with malicious intent or in contempt of the law, and conclude that the matter will now be handled through the proper legal channels, where facts—and not narratives spread on social media—belong. The investigation will now have to establish each party’s responsibilities in a case involving particularly serious accusations.
