Lucas Hernandez is proud to have become a world champion. Eight years after lifting the trophy, the PSG player has treated himself to a giant Kong statue, which he has installed at his Paris residence.

Take a detour past Lucas Hernandez’s home and the spectacle is impossible to miss. Eight years after his world triumph, the full-back gave himself an XXL gift: a giant Kong designed by Richard Orlinski. Bright red, wearing the French national team jersey with the number 21 on the back, the beast proudly holds the World Cup.

A Monument Celebrating His 2018 World Cup Triumph

In a video released on Sunday, the PSG defender revealed behind-the-scenes footage of the installation. Placed in the middle of a parking area filled with luxury cars, the statue required a crane and a dedicated team before standing majestically at the center of the courtyard.
