April Fool’s prank or genuine leak? It’s hard to tell. According to Footy Headlines, the future 2026–2027 warm-up jersey of Paris Saint-Germain is already generating a lot of buzz… to the point that some fans regret it won’t be worn in matches, or even at all.
Even before its official release, the retro-inspired design is winning people over. A clean white base, a horizontal red stripe framed by blue: an elegant reinterpretation of the iconic “Hechter” style. The Nike logo and the club crest sit at the center, with Qatar Airways just below. The collar and sleeves echo these same accents, creating a look that feels both classic and premium—rarely seen on a simple warm-up kit.
A Design That Raises Doubts
But that’s exactly where doubts begin to emerge.
Too good to be true? Many believe this design would easily qualify as an official away kit. Yet it is supposedly limited to pre-match use… a decision that raises questions.
Another troubling detail: some visual elements appear suspicious. The PSG logo, in particular, shows irregularities typical of images generated or altered by artificial intelligence. Enough to fuel speculation that it might be a fake.
So, is it a real leak or just a mock-up? Footy Headlines has previously shared AI-generated visuals. But this one seems especially questionable. The answer should become clear in the coming weeks.
