The night turned into a nightmare for Raheem Sterling. The Chelsea forward was once again targeted by burglars on Saturday night while he was at home with his wife and children.

A new traumatic episode for the 30-year-old star, who was fortunate: the family “came out unscathed” from this intrusion, reports the Daily Mail.

According to initial reports, masked individuals attempted to break into the player’s house before fleeing upon realizing that the Sterling family was present. This burglary attempt brings Raheem Sterling back to a painful past. In December 2022, while he was participating in the World Cup in Qatar, his home had already been targeted, causing nearly €340,000 in losses and forcing him to leave the England team gathering in an emergency.
