At just 18 years old, Endrick is already facing doubts about his future. The Brazilian striker, with only 16 appearances and 1 goal in La Liga for Real Madrid, was only called up to the Seleção due to Neymar’s injury. This has raised questions about his place in Brazil’s pecking order ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Speaking on Romario TV, the young Madrid talent didn’t hide his concern: “To be honest, what’s on my mind is that I’m afraid I won’t play in the World Cup, because it’s one of my dreams.”

World Cup dream slipping away?

While breaking through at one of the biggest clubs in the world is no easy task, Endrick is clinging to hope: “Every time I play, I try to show a bit of my game to get called up by the national team. I hope next year I can be part of the squad and, God willing, we’ll win the World Cup.”
