Mbappé, The Favorite

The first name that comes to mind is Kylian Mbappé. Currently wearing the 9, he could take the 10, as he does with France, or even the 7. If he agrees to switch numbers, Mbappé would be the natural choice to succeed Modric.

Bellingham, Another Option

If Mbappé prefers to keep the 9, Jude Bellingham could take over the number. The young Englishman already wears the 5, a legendary number since Zidane, and may continue with it unless a strategic change occurs. The number 10 is ready to be claimed, and the one who wears it next must live up to the legacy of its iconic predecessor. While Mbappé settled for the 9, the 10 remains his ultimate goal for the former PSG star.
