A page is turning at Real Madrid. The Merengue club officially announced this Friday the departure of Dani Ceballos. After seven seasons wearing the Madrid shirt, the Spanish midfielder is leaving Los Blancos by mutual agreement with the club’s management.
It is official: Dani Ceballos is leaving after winning 16 trophies! Signed in 2017, Ceballos experienced one of the most glorious periods in Real Madrid’s history. Although he was never an undisputed starter, the Spanish international played 215 matches and added no fewer than 16 trophies to his résumé.
An Exceptional Trophy Haul in Madrid
The midfielder leaves the club with three Champions League titles, four Club World Cups, three UEFA Super Cups, two Spanish league titles, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups. An impressive record that reflects his time within one of the most dominant squads of recent years.
In its statement, Real Madrid warmly thanked Dani Ceballos for his professionalism and commitment. The club wished him all the best for the rest of his career, while sending him a powerful message: “Real Madrid is and will always be his home.”
