Snoop Dogg wants to save Celtic. The American rapper, a fan of the club for nearly 20 years, claims he is ready to invest and help bring back Ange Postecoglou after the shocking resignation of Brendan Rodgers.
It is known that Snoop Dogg loves sports. Basketball, and he will be a godfather for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. But like Ryan Reynolds, he also sees himself buying a European club. And a big one: Celtic Glasgow.
Amid chaos in Glasgow, Snoop Dogg sends a clear message to the Celtic board in the Daily Record: “Call me.” The 54-year-old rapper, with an estimated fortune of £120 million, says he wants to put money on the table to strengthen the team and calm the anger of the supporters.
“Coach? I don’t know. But investor, yes”
When asked about the idea of taking a role at the club, Snoop does not hesitate: “Coach? I don’t know. But investor, yes. If the opportunity is good, I’m in. The fans want the best players, just ask the management.”
Regarding Rodgers’ departure and the temporary arrival of Martin O’Neill, he remains diplomatic: “In sports, players leave, coaches leave… You move on. Respect to O’Neill. But I think we need to bring back Ange. The fans would love it.”
A fan of Celtic since 2005, Snoop Dogg has never hidden his attachment to the club, even saying he dreams of having a food truck in front of Celtic Park. And after becoming a co-owner of Swansea in July, the idea of seeing Snoop invest in Scotland has never seemed more real.
