Present at Camp Nou to take part in the FC Barcelona presidential election, Marc-André Ter Stegen experienced an unexpected situation. The German goalkeeper ultimately was unable to vote.
A surprise at the polling station — and not a pleasant one for Ter Stegen. Like all FC Barcelona socios, the players were invited to participate in the club’s presidential election between Joan Laporta and Victor Font. Marc-André Ter Stegen therefore went to Camp Nou to cast his ballot.
German Goalkeeper Missing From Official Voter List
However, the German goalkeeper encountered an unpleasant surprise when he arrived at the polling station. According to Catalan media, his name simply did not appear on the official voter list. Despite waiting for a long time on site in an attempt to resolve the issue, the German international was unable to vote.

With no solution found, the Barça goalkeeper eventually had to turn around and leave without taking part in the vote. The unusual scene quickly spread across social media, where video footage of the moment circulated widely.
