Cristiano Ronaldo and Elon Musk casually crashed the ultra-golden, ultra-shiny White House dinner on Tuesday, where Donald Trump welcomed Mohammed bin Salman like an old billionaire buddy. And just to make the night even weirder, the White House dropped an absolutely wild video of Trump and CR7 strolling and laughing together in the hallways—basically a geopolitical buddy-comedy teaser.
Between a late-career Ronaldo, now the glossy poster-boy of Al Nassr thanks to Saudi mega-cheques, and a Musk suddenly all warm and fuzzy with Trump after serving on a government commission, the evening looked less like a state dinner and more like an audition for “Richest People Alive: The Reunion.”
Trump, inflated with pride, even mentioned that his son Barron finally got to meet his idol Ronaldo. A critical diplomatic achievement, obviously. “You know, my son is a big Ronald fan,” he declared before dinner, as if announcing a peace treaty.

Ronaldo, preparing for what will be his final World Cup, smiled at the table—probably mentally calculating his next Saudi bonus. Musk, seated at another table but clearly back in Trump’s good graces, completed this glamorous little triangle of strategic bromance.
