Rodrygo may have decided to stay at Real Madrid this summer, but Manchester City could be about to test his resolve.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League champions are considering the 24-year-old Brazilian winger as they brace for multiple attacking departures, including Jack Grealish, Savinho, and James McAtee.
Pep Guardiola is reportedly the driving force behind City’s interest. The Spanish manager is said to be a big admirer of Rodrygo’s style and is pushing internally to bring him to the Etihad.
Real Madrid, for their part, would only consider a sale if the player himself requests to leave. But the price tag is clear: around €100 million for the forward, who is under contract until June 2028. This could turn into one of the summer’s biggest transfer stories.
