AC Milan are stepping up their pursuit of Rasmus Højlund as they search for a new striker. The 22-year-old Danish forward, who scored 10 goals in 52 appearances last season, has struggled to impress since arriving at Manchester United.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have opened talks with the English club over a loan deal with a purchase option. The proposed fee? Around €35 million — a notable drop from what United paid just two summers ago.
A return to Serie A, where Højlund previously shone with Atalanta, could offer him a fresh start — and Milan a much-needed boost in attack.
