RC Lens pulled off a major move on the final day of the winter transfer window by signing Allan Saint-Maximin, who was a free agent after leaving Club América.
Allan Saint-Maximin is returning to Ligue 1. After spells in the Premier League, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and then Mexico, the former Nice player is coming back to France.
A strategic return to boost Lens’ attack
The 28-year-old French winger has signed for six months and returns to Ligue 1 aiming to relaunch his career. Versatile, explosive, and experienced, he is expected to bring speed, creativity, and attacking drive to an already efficient forward line.
This signing confirms the ambitions of the Sang et Or, current league leaders, and highlights the growing appeal of the Lens project under Pierre Sage. Despite a difficult personal experience in Mexico, Saint-Maximin arrives highly motivated to rediscover his best level in a familiar environment.
