Barcelona is currently unable to register Dani Olmo for the second half of the season due to restrictions imposed by La Liga.

What will Barça do with Dani Olmo? The player’s registration has been definitively rejected by La Liga, but the club still hopes to have the decision overturned in court.

This situation could force the attacking midfielder Dani Olmo to leave the club in January. Olmo, who needs a federal license to play, could depart as stipulated in his contract, without any transfer fee… And Barcelona would have to pay him all his wages until the end of his contract… a financial hole of nearly 300 million euros for the club.

However, it hasn’t come to that yet. According to Spanish media, including Mundo Deportivo, the player could join AC Milan for six months in Serie A before returning to Barcelona at the end of the season. If the situation doesn’t resolve, he may be forced to join another club or put his career on hold until next summer. PSG is also reportedly interested.
