The FC Barcelona scouting machine strikes again. The Catalan giants have reached an agreement with Dinamo Zagreb for the signing of Cardoso Varela, a highly-rated 16-year-old Portuguese winger.
Deal details
Fixed fee: €5 million
Add-ons: up to €20 million
Plus 20% of any future resale
Varela will remain in Croatia for one more season to continue his development before officially moving to Barcelona in 2026. The Blaugrana clearly see him as a long-term investment.
