Raphaël Guerreiro and Bayern Munich are set to part ways soon. The Bavarian club officially announced on Monday that the Portuguese full-back will leave at the end of his contract next June.
Having joined on a free transfer in 2023 from Borussia Dortmund, the former FC Lorient player experienced a relatively short spell in Bavaria. This season, the 32-year-old featured in 13 Bundesliga matches, scoring three goals and bringing versatility and experience to the Munich squad.
A Trophy-Laden Farewell in Bavaria
Despite limited playing time, the Portuguese international leaves with an enhanced trophy cabinet. During his time with Bayern, he won the 2025 Bundesliga title as well as the German Super Cup in the same year, adding two more honors to his already impressive résumé.
This departure marks the end of a discreet yet effective stint for Raphaël Guerreiro. Now a free agent this summer, he will be ready to take on a new challenge, armed with the experience and titles gained at one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
