Shock at Celtic. The Scottish club announced today the termination of Wilfried Nancy’s contract with immediate effect… after only one month.
In a statement, the board thanked the coach for his work and wished him and his family all the best for the future. His assistants, Kwame Ampadu, Jules Gueguen and Maxime Chalier, are also leaving the club.
A Club in Turmoil
This wave of departures does not stop there. Celtic also confirmed the exit of Paul Tisdale, director of football operations, who was thanked for his contribution. A deep reorganization that reflects the current climate of instability surrounding the club.
With this new change, Celtic are already searching for their third head coach of the season, after Brendan Rodgers and Wilfried Nancy. A rare situation for a club used to continuity, illustrating the sporting and structural difficulties of recent months. The club said more information will be communicated to supporters soon regarding the future of the sporting project.
