Is Mason Greenwood already on his way out of Marseille? According to Fichajes, Saudi club Al-Ahli has submitted a massive €70 million offer to sign the English forward.
Signed from Manchester United in 2024, Greenwood (23) quickly became a key figure at OM. With 21 goals and 5 assists in 34 Ligue 1 matches, he was instrumental in Marseille’s second-place finish and their return to the Champions League under Roberto De Zerbi.
A tricky deal
But the transfer isn’t straightforward. 40% of any future transfer fee must go to Manchester United, significantly reducing OM’s profit. On top of that, Greenwood is reportedly happy in Marseille, despite unconfirmed rumors of internal tensions.
He hasn’t asked to leave, but the offer is tempting — and Al-Ahli is pushing hard. Marseille now faces a big decision: cash in on a massive fee, or keep their attacking star for a European campaign. One to watch.
