Alexander Isak only wants Liverpool – and he’s made that crystal clear. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 25-year-old Swedish striker (23 Premier League goals last season) has rejected all other offers, including a huge bid from Al-Hilal and interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.
The timing is ideal for Liverpool, who just sold Luis Díaz to Bayern Munich for €75m (£63.5m). With Darwin Núñez possibly on his way out, the Reds are gearing up for a full offensive to land Isak.
€140m (£119m) rejected by Newcastle
But Newcastle aren’t budging. The Magpies have turned down a €140m (£119m) bid including bonuses and will not negotiate further until they secure a replacement.
The standoff is real — but Isak remains firm: it’s Anfield or nothing.
