Neymar is already making an impact at Santos. Barely back at his boyhood club, the Brazilian star—still recovering from injury—is pushing for new reinforcements. According to UOL Esporte, one of his main targets is Leandro Paredes, his former teammate at Paris Saint-Germain.
Paredes Interested, but Roma Stands Firm
At 30 years old, Leandro Paredes is currently a key midfielder at AS Roma. While the Argentine international is intrigued by the idea of reuniting with Neymar and returning to Brazil, the Italian club has no intention of letting him go before the end of the season.
However, Santos remains determined and is reportedly willing to offer financial compensation to persuade Roma to release the player.
