Paris Saint-Germain are expected to officially announce Fabian Ruiz’s contract extension in the coming days. The Spanish midfielder, whose current deal runs until June 2027, has reportedly reached an agreement with the club to continue his career in the French capital.
Fabian Ruiz is set to stay at PSG. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, both parties reached an agreement as early as May. Only a few final administrative details remain before the club makes the extension official.
Fabian Ruiz Set for a Long-Term Future at PSG
The new contract would add three more seasons to his current deal, with an optional fourth year included. If all conditions are met, Ruiz could remain tied to Paris Saint-Germain until June 2031, further strengthening the club’s long-term project.
If the agreement is finalized, the former Napoli midfielder will be guaranteed to stay in Paris until at least 2030, with the possibility of extending for one additional season.
Since joining PSG in 2022, Ruiz has steadily become an important part of the midfield thanks to his technical quality, versatility, and international experience. His impressive performances with Spain at the World Cup have also reinforced his status, and the expected extension will secure his future while preventing him from entering the final two years of his current contract.
