Paris Saint-Germain are bringing out the heavy artillery. Behind the scenes, negotiations are in full swing. Three priority files are currently on the table: Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé and Senny Mayulu. The objective is clear — secure their attacking core and send a strong message.
The club is determined to preserve the backbone of its squad. According to RMC Sport and Fabrice Hawkins, the management wants to move quickly to lock down its key players and build a long-term project. There is no intention of allowing any uncertainty around its top talents. Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé and Senny Mayulu are considered the most urgent cases.
Senny Mayulu Talks Stall Over Salary Demands
However, a sudden chill has hit negotiations. According to Bruno Salomon from France Bleu Paris, discussions with Senny Mayulu are currently at a standstill. The issue reportedly lies in salary demands considered well above the club’s wage structure. Internally, this situation is said to have caused a degree of disappointment.
La Source Parisienne confirms that PSG have offered an extension until 2030, but the player’s camp is believed to be asking for significantly higher wages. Some within the club warn that it is dangerous to “play with fire” when dealing with a club that has heavily invested in a player’s development. The Gianluigi Donnarumma precedent remains fresh in everyone’s mind, as Paris previously did not hesitate to take a firm stance when faced with excessive demands.
Meanwhile, PSG have already secured several pillars of their squad: Willian Pacho and João Neves are tied down until 2030, Fabián Ruiz until 2029, and Ibrahim Mbaye until 2028. And negotiations are far from over.
Five other key cases — Kang-in Lee, Lucas Beraldo, Gonçalo Ramos, Marquinhos and Désiré Doué — are also under discussion. In total, the club is actively working on eight contract renewals. The message is clear: strengthen the squad, secure the future and avoid any drawn-out contract sagas. In Paris, stability has become an absolute priority.
