Bayern Munich has stepped up its pursuit of Nico Williams. The Athletic Bilbao winger has reportedly shown openness to a move to Bavaria, and a first meeting has already taken place between his entourage and the German club’s sporting directors.
Williams’ release clause is set between €60 and €65 million, and he is said to be demanding around €20 million gross per year. While Bayern has not yet sealed a deal, the negotiations are clearly progressing.
Barcola? “Not for sale”
Meanwhile, Bradley Barcola remains highly rated by Bayern, but PSG has shut the door. The French club sees the 21-year-old as untouchable and essential for the future. A transfer is simply not on the table.
